Fortunately, a concerned citizen discovered Vegemite and took them for a vet check, where it was determined that they had escaped harm from any vehicular encounters.Subsequently, Vegemite was released at SKER HQ, where they reside within their native habitat, which comprises of approximately 250 hectares. Vegemite is often spotted in and around SKER and the surrounding suburbs.
Your once off sponsorship of $50AUD will support enhancing the existing echidna enclosures, as well as covering the costs of continued care and specialised food required for future echidnas that may require our assistance.
