SKER’s Fundraising Quiz Night!
SKER Hosts Successful Quiz Night Fundraiser
On Saturday 12th of October 2024, SKER successfully held its much-anticipated quiz night fundraiser, bringing together supporters and community members for an evening of fun and friendly competition. The event raised an impressive total of $15,516.70 all of which will go towards supporting SKER's ongoing initiatives and projects.
The quiz night took place at a Old Reynella Community Centre, where teams gathered to test their knowledge across a variety of topics, from general knowledge to pop culture. The atmosphere was lively, with participants engaged and eager to win. Hosted by Quizzame the use of a button answer system, fostering a spirited environment that encouraged teamwork and camaraderie, as well as a competitive spirit with the scores instantly displayed at the end of each round.
In addition to the quiz itself, attendees enjoyed a selection of mini games and were encouraged to participate in raffles and our online silent auction throughout the night. The generosity of local businesses, who donated prizes and goods for the event, played a significant role in contributing to the fundraising total.

The success of the event highlights the strong support SKER receives from the community. Participants were not only there to compete but also to connect with others who are passionate about the mission behind SKER. The evening showcased the dedication of everyone involved, from volunteers who helped organise the event to attendees who participated wholeheartedly.
The funds raised are set to enhance SKER's capacity to deliver quality fulltime vet treatment onsite in our own vet clinic, As the organisation continues to strive for excellence and innovation, the support from the community remains crucial. This quiz night has not only boosted financial resources but also strengthened community ties.
