A Huge Thank You to the City of Onkaparinga!

Southern Koala and Echidna Rescue (SKER) extends our sincere gratitude to the City of Onkaparinga for their ongoing support. The generous grants we have received over the past few years have been instrumental in our continued efforts to rescue and rehabilitate injured wildlife.

These funds have enabled us to:

• Enhance our expertise: We've invested in vital training programs for our dedicated team, equipping them with the latest knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care for our patients.

• Upgrade our facilities: The grants have allowed us to purchase crucial equipment such as IV fluid pumps for our wildlife clinic. This includes specialised tools and medical supplies that are essential for the successful treatment and rehabilitation of critically injured native animals.

Thanks to the City of Onkaparinga's support, we are better equipped to save more lives and ensure the long-term health of our local wildlife populations.

IV fluids are crucial for critically injured koalas like Louis Vuitton. Thanks to the City of Onkaparinga we have a second IV pump which allows us to treat two critically injured koalas at once.
